Everyone deserves a bike.

Through all of our adult bike programs, we aim to increase mobility for those who cannot afford a bike or repairs on their own.

E-Bike Lending Library

A transformative "try-before-you-buy" program designed to provide sustainable, electric mobility options to residents across Pierce County. Participants can check out one of our 13 high-quality e-bikes to test how electric assist can power up their daily commutes and utility trips.

Qualifications: Open to adult residents, with prioritized access for low-income and overburdened individuals looking to overcome transit barriers.

How to register: Eligible participants must first complete a brief safety orientation covering battery management, locking techniques, and rules of the road. Registration forms can be accessed on our website.

Funding: Funded by Washington's Climate Commitment Act (CCA). The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health.

Pedals for the People

 & Pedal It Forward

Free bicycle gifting and basic repair services for individuals who rely on cycling as their primary, essential method of transit.

Qualifications: Designed explicitly for low-income community members or individuals experiencing financial barriers who cannot otherwise afford a functioning bicycle or shop repair rates.

How to register: Enrollment is open-access via walk-ins at the shop or through direct referrals from local housing and human service nonprofit partners.

Open Shop

A drop-in open community classroom space to access professional stands, workbenches, and tools with guidance from volunteer mechanics.

Who it's for: Everyone! No mechanical experience is required.

When: Every Friday from 5-7pm. No registration needed just roll up!
