Who can volunteer?
Anyone!
Previous experience is not required—you will learn on the job! Volunteer positions are open to people that are just starting to get into bikes, folks who want to learn more about bikes, gain hands-on learning experience, or want an outlet to help those in need in their community. Sign up here!
When?
Tuesdays – Fridays 10am–4pm
plus during select evening or weekend events
What do volunteers do?

Support daily shop operations
-
Strip bikes for parts, build bikes, and assist with special projects
-
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space
-
Help pick up donated bikes — we always need the help!

Must be 16+
-
Able to lift up to 40 lbs and use basic tools
-
Take direction well and work efficiently
-
Passion for bikes and community is a big plus

Hands-on bike mechanic skills and tool training

Connection to Tacoma’s cycling community

Free 2nd Cycle t-shirt after 10 hours
