Bike Stories 2025

Join our annual bike themed storytelling event supporting 2nd Cycle’s work in the community. This year, we’re celebrating local people making an impact in our cycling community. There will be a silent auction, great stories, and surprises in store.

Tickets are $40 Early Bird, with Free and Reduced options available to ensure everyone can join. Don’t wait register today!

Kidical Mass at Wapato Park

This family-friendly ride is open to all and designed to help kids and adults alike feel more confident riding together in a group. We’ll be riding about 5 mile route at a relaxed 5 MPH pace, making it accessible for riders of all ages and abilities. Please also bring a helmet, and enthusiasm, and let’s roll together in a celebration of biking in Tacoma!

Bicycle Fix it Fest
Open Shop!

Need to fix a flat? Adjust your brakes? Learn how to wrench on your own bike? Fix-It Fest is for you!

Join us every other Friday at 2nd Cycle for a drop-in open shop session where our workbenches, tools, and supportive community are here to help you keep your bike rolling. Whether you’re a total beginner or just need a space to finish a project, you’re welcome here.

What to expect:

Access to tools & work stands
Volunteer mechanics offering guidance
A welcoming, inclusive space
No experience required

Fix-It Fest is part of our mission to demystify and normalize bike riding as a part of daily life and make sure everyone has access to the tools and knowledge they need to ride confidently.
