What we accept
As a registered 501c3 non-profit, Second Cycle relies on material donations from the community to support our mission and programs. We process more than 1,600 bicycles each year, along with nearly 10,000 pounds of parts and accessories.

Bikes
-
Any size, any condition!
-
But please leave the rusted bikes rest in the metal recycling bin.
Note: We don’t purchase bikes. Our shop runs on generous community donations. If you’re hoping to sell your bike, good options include Facebook Marketplace, Pinkbike, or OfferUp.
Bike Parts and Frames
-
This includes wheels, handlebars, cassettes, and chains (new only).
Bike Accessories
-
This includes helmets, pumps, racks (must have all parts), panniers/bags (clean & usable), locks with keys.
Bike Tires & Tubes
-
New or sealed only.

E-Bikes*
-
We accept e-bikes only where the battery can be safely and easily removed. We will not accept e-bike donations where the battery cannot be removed.
-
If your E-Bike is broken, please find the nearest E-Bike Battery Recycler. Check out our FAQ page for more details.
-
Please consider selling your E-Bike and donating the proceeds to 2nd Cycle instead!
Many thanks for your continued support!
