Second Cycle is a nonprofit in Tacoma, WA, working to normalize biking as a part of daily life and promote the bicycle as a tool for personal and community empowerment. We offer a community tool space, youth programs, and a welcoming, accessible environment for riders of all backgrounds.

Founded in a basement garage in 2008, we've grown steadily while staying true to our DIY roots and community-driven mission. What began as a simple tool space has evolved into a hub for vibrant youth and adult programming.
 
Proudly based in Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood for over 17 years, we’ve seen—and continue to adapt to—significant changes in the area, including the incoming light rail and new housing developments. As we grow, we’re looking for passionate individuals to grow with us.
